Robert “Mike” Bertele, age 74 of Bright, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 with his family at his side. Born February 12, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert and Ruth (Putnick) Bertele.
Mike grew up in Cincinnati and was married to Julia Arnold for 38 years. He was a retired electrician of Local #212 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, card night and golfing with his family and friends. His grandkids were his pride and joy and best buddies.
Mike was a great dad, brother, grandpa and friend. He will be missed by his daughters, Shelly (John) Willoughby, Krista Bertele, and Julie (Doug) Ensinger, sister Robyn Bertele, Doris Dunham, grandchildren Shawn Willoughby, Bailey & Taylor Ensinger, sister-in-law Charlene Meyer, many special nephews and nieces, and treasured friends.
Visitation will be Thursday March 25, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of blessing at 12:00 P.M with Father Bill Dorrmann officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway St. Harrison, Ohio 45030.Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, Ohio.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital c/o the funeral home.
Due to Covid 19 the family requests that masks are to be worn inside the funeral home.
