Karen S. Platter
Karen Platter, age 67, passed away on May 8, 2022.
Karen was born on October 21, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Richard and Stella Clark (Gillian). Karen married Timothy Platter of Loveland, Ohio on September 11, 1982.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Timothy Platter. Cherished children; Denise (Joseph) Viall, Doug Kornrumpf, Heather (Daniel) Mentrup. Beloved grandchildren; Kayla, Rachael (Randal), Madalyn, Addysen, Ella, and one great granddaughter Zoey. Siblings; John Clark and Kimberly Singerman. Brother-in-laws; John (Mary) Platter and Jim (Peggy) Platter. Karen is also survived by numerous extended family, friends and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Stella Clark. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tom and Mary Platter.
Karen was the matriarch of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Karen loved to talk to everyone and never met a stranger. She made everyone feel like they were family with her warm and welcoming spirit. Karen’s smile and laugh could light up any room. She enjoyed spending time in her yard planting flowers and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and past pets. Karen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family at big family gatherings, small family dinners, and sleepovers with her grandchildren. She was a strong woman and a fighter until the end. Karen will be missed forever, but we take comfort in knowing that she is watching over us all.
Funeral services for Karen will be held privately.
