Agnes I. Baker
Agnes Baker, age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 7, 2022.
She was born on January 31, 1932, in Booneville, Kentucky to Herdis and Anna Mae (Tirey) Burch. Agnes married Lee Baker in April of 1953.
Agnes is survived by her husband Lee Baker. Children; Linda Meyer, Kim (Rick) Anderson, and Jeff (Erin) Baker. Grandchildren; Ronnie (Ashlee) Baker, Alesha Baker, Jason Baker, Randy (Katie) Baker, Amelia Anderson, Lyla Baker, and Kendall Baker, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons; Ron and David, siblings; Bobbie, Billie and Jack, and son-in-law Jeff Meyer.
She was a woman of faith and enjoyed volunteering at church, especially with planning and preparing the meals at the annual conference. She was an expert in the kitchen, was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word finds.
Agnes loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. (Follow the blue line to the left once you enter the cemetery gates)
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
