William “Toby” Marx
William “Toby” Marx, age 58, passed away on March 9, 2022.
Toby was born in Cincinnati, OH to Robert & Margaret Marx. Toby was married to Elizabeth “Beth” Ruwe of Cincinnati, Ohio for 33 years.
Toby owned his own towing service, Performance Towing, for 25 years. He was well loved in the community and knew many people. He never met a stranger. He was always popping in and out, visiting his shops, and had a close connection with each one of them. He loved boating and working in his yard.
Toby is survived by his wife Beth Marx; his sons Logan & Lance Marx; his siblings Kathy Traylor & John (Gail) Marx; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Margaret; his brother Bobby; and his brother-in-law Frank Traylor.
A visitation for Toby will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens’ Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel (2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231; follow the RED line) on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. After the funeral, Toby will be laid to rest in the Garden of Restoration.
Donations may be made to the Central & Southern Ohio Chapter of the ALS Association (1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, OH 43220) or American Cancer Society in honor of Toby.
