Timothy Cowan
Mr. Timothy Cowan, age 68, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2022.
Timothy was born in Middletown, OH to Walter and Mary Cowan. Timothy married Susan L. Swartzel of Cincinnati, Ohio on October 5, 1990.
Timothy is survived by his loving spouse, Susan Cowan, son Anthony Cowan, daughter Kristina (Conner) Cowan, siblings, Toni Fisher, Barb Barnes, Debbie Cowan, Missy (Eddie) Miracle, Nicki Cowan, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Cowan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, Walter Cowan and Ann (Jonnie) Epps, brothers-in-law, Dave Fisher and Merrill Barnes.
Tim grew up in Lebanon, Ohio along with seven siblings. He was a caring husband to his wife, Susan, and a loving father to two children. Tim worked in the aerospace industry the majority of his career. He was also a volunteer firefighter in Blue Ash, and later volunteered as a firefighter/EMT in Malden, New York, where he was named firefighter of the year in 1993.
Tim was an avid motorcycle rider who loved to ride and always looked forward to a beautiful day. He enjoyed spending time with his family, doing crossword puzzles, and watching sports. He loved the simple things, like being outside in his mancave year round and hanging out with his neighbors.
He was a man of few words who had a significant impact on those who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
Services for Mr. Timothy Cowan will be held on Thursday March 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 4695 Blue Rock Road, 45247 with Pastor Christie Beckmann officiating.
If you would like to donate in Tim’s honor, we ask for donations to go to Springfield Township Fire Department, 9150 Winton Road, 45231.
Burial will take place at a later date.
