Ronald A. Noll AKA The Gooch, age 90. Ron was born in Cincinnati, OH to Leslie and Olga Noll.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife Jean Noll of 70 years, loving children David (Peggy), Michele (Tom), and Cindy (Mark). His cherished grandchildren Julie (Carey), Gary (Liz), Joe, Stephanie (Duncan), Karen (Patrick), Allie (Brian), Annie (Joe), Drew (Sammie), Matt (Kelly), and Evan (Becky). Great-Grandchildren, Persephone, Brittany, Gary, Evan, Nathan, Brennen, Ryan, Joey, Becca, Kaitlyn, Carter, Riley, Charlee, Brewer, Auggie, Cooper, Lainey, Landon, Jeb, Reese, and Ryan. Great-Great Granddaughter Harmony.
He was preceded in death by his children Debbie and Donna, and brother Herbert Noll.
Ron was a Cincinnati Firefighter, He retired after 30 years of service. He was a Mason for 69 years and a member of Hanselmann Lodge #208. Ron loved to entertain everyone he met with his jokes.
A private service will be held for the immediate family at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. My dinner night at Hillebrand with Ron and my dad Mike, Ray and Jackie was Tuesday night. As Kathy points out in her message, our family very much appreciated that Ron always looked out for our dad and made sure his many needs were taken care of by the staff. Dad could be a bit of a curmudgeon but just wanted a good meal and hot food. Ron was very understanding of his ways. I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s loss and know that you likely have gone through long periods without being with him because of COVID concerns just as we did several months ago with Dad. My heart goes out to you knowing how difficult this year has been and how it will impact the funeral. Know that we are with you in spirit.

Ron was one of a kind. Ron took our Dad under his wing and went to bat for him every day at Hillebrand Nursing Center. Ron always had a corny joke that brought groans, smiles, and chuckles as we ate dinner on Wednesday nights with Ron, Ray, Marty, Dad (Mike) and Jackie. Ron made sure Dad had 4 butters, 4 salts and whole milk to drink. John and I so loved Ron. We are sending you all hugs. Look for you God-winks (little signs) from Ron. I know you will get some. I expect them to be fun.
