Raymond Joseph Wullkotte
Mr. Raymond Joseph Wullkotte, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Ray was born in Cincinnati, OH to John and Loraine Wullkotte. Ray married Thelma Grote on July 25, 1959, and she preceded him in death in 2003. He served his country as part of the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Ray never met a stranger. Before you knew it, he knew everything about your life. He was genuinely interested in everyone he met. He wanted to know your story, and know what made you, you. He was a man of faith, conviction and principle. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He mentored his grandchildren, teaching them valuable life lessons that they will carry with them for years to come. A life well lived and the world was a better place with him in it.
Ray is survived by his children, Russell (Michelle) Wullkotte, Karen (Dan) Bohl, Tracey (Bill) Wurzelbacher, grandchildren, Shaun Wullkotte, Noah Wullkotte, Alec (Lindsay) Schiering, Zachary (Maria) Schiering, Taylor Schiering, Chelsea Bohl, Nick (Jessica) Bohl, Hope (Jason) Strine and Hunter Wurzelbacher, great-grandchildren, Easton Schiering, Korbin Schiering, Grayson Schiering, Hudson Schiering, Miles Bohl and Lainey Strine, brother, Jack (Jeannine) Wullkotte and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and spouse of 44 years, Thelma, siblings, Bernie Wullkotte and Lester (Carol) Wullkotte.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM when the services will begin, at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the RED line to the mausoleum chapel. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
