Michael Rudolph Schwarte died peacefully on Thursday May 19, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old.
“Rudy” was born on September 2, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Ken Schwarte & Mary Margaret Bagot. He was the eldest brother to Rick, Ron and Randy (Jennifer). He attended Taylor High School before jump-starting his career in automobile sales. At the age of 15, Rudy met a beautiful young girl in the parking lot of Frisch’s Big Boy. Shortly thereafter, Rudy and Katie McDonough married. They were to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary this August. Rudy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother-in-law. He was a fabulous cook, shopped (and styled) endlessly for his wife and had a legendary sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Katie, two loving sons, Kristopher (Beth) and Matthew (Lindsey) and five grandchildren, Evelyn, Kiersten, Emerson, Robin and Simon. He will be sorely missed.
