Jeffrey Wayne Akers “Jeff”, age 62 of Brookville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022 at Mercy Health West. He was born on August 24th, 1959 to Samuel and Geraldine (Whitaker) Akers. Jeff was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, He loved sports of all kind, was in several bowling leagues as well as canoeing , fishing, and numerous other activities, but if asked, he would tell you his biggest achievement was his children. He loved them to no end and his family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his 3 children; Tanisha Akers (Andrew Fredrick), Jason Akers, and Arizona Akers. Two Grandchildren Drake and Drayden Fredrick, Two sisters, Karen and Kristi Akers and a brother, Bob Edmonds, and many nieces and nephews. He was proceded in death by his parents and brother, Calvin (Doug) Akers and a nephew Justin McLean .
Funeral service will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7041 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati Ohio on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 with visitation beginning at 11:00am, service at 12:00pm with Burial following at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
