A real man and a good man. He was my barber from when I was a child until my 50s. Truly a caring person with a great sense of humor and quick with an encouraging word. There was a time I was between jobs and had come to get my hair cut for an upcoming interview – he wouldn’t let me pay. Typical Jack. My heartfelt sympathies to his family.

Phyllis and family, My sincere sympathy and condolences at the loss of such a great guy. In 1996 my lifelong barber in College Hill retired. The next month on a Saturday in September my daughter was beginning her cheerleading career as a freshman cheerleader at LaSalle. I had to work that day and had to miss that game. On my way home I stopped at Valleydale for the first time. When I got home I told my wife, WOW, I got a great haircut learned things I didn’t know about guns and horses and LaSalle freshman team won the game. I’ve looked forward to seeing Jack for the next 24 years after that.. He’ll be missed by many
