Georgia M. Wheeler, age 81, passed away on June 22, 2021.

Georgia was born on September 23,1939 in Sharpsburg, Kentucky to William and Lula Petitt (nee Setters).

Georgia is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Chip) Steger and son Billy Ray (Brenda) Smith. Grandchildren; Nathan, Joshua, Jessica Smith, Sonya (Stefan) Moran and Scot Steger and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jimmy Petitt, nieces Brenda (Jackie) Sears and Jamie (Alex) Black, nephews David (Jamie) Sears and Jason Petitt and a host of many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lula Petitt, her brother Billy Petitt and sister Hazel Sears.

Those who knew Georgia knew she was an amazing cook, always providing full course meals to her friends and family; best known for her chocolate pie, mashed potatoes, and fried stuffing.

Visitation will be held Friday, 25th of June 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (upon entering the Memorial Park follow the blue line).

A funeral service for Georgia Wheeler will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

    I spent as much time as I could with Georgie when she came to Sharpsburg. We played alot of cards at Mammies ( Jenny Petitt).
