George “Bud” Barkley
George “Bud” Barkley, age 75, passed away on April 4, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family.
Bud was born on April 8, 1946, in Buffalo, New York to George and Alice Barkley. Bud married Sarah “Cathie” Barkley (nee Simon) on August 12, 1967.
Bud is survived by his wife Cathie Barkley, and his daughters Tonya (Garry) St. Clair, Kristen (Troy) Boner. Grandchildren; Tristyn A. Boner, Peyton B. St. Clair, and Jackson G. St. Clair and granddogs Charlie and Marcy. Also survived by his sister Mary Williams and brother David (Sue) Barkley, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Alice Barkley.
Bud was a simple man of many hobbies. He was a Streetrod enthusiast and a lover of sports, mainly his Cincinnati Bearcats, Bengals, and Reds. His happy place was the casino and there wasn’t much he craved more than a good hamburger or a few Oreos, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family. He loved laughing with his daughters and sons in laws, telling stories with his loving wife and rooting for his grandkids sports teams and cheering in the crowd of their music shows. He loved spending time with friends, and he LOVED his country.
