KLUG, Edward William – Beloved husband of Jean (nee Kleiner) Klug; passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 86 in the presence of his family. “Ed” was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, wood working, and all things automobile racing. He was a Cincinnati sports fan and loved home cooked meals, a good book and solitaire. Ed honorably served his country in the United States Navy, owned and operated Priority Home Service and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. Ed was the first Boy Scout Leader at Corpus Christi where he also coached baseball and volunteered much of his time & talent to his parish. Edward is survived by his children, Linda (Will) Bobinger, Richard Klug, Donald (Kelly) Klug, Lisa (Scott) Guthrie and Mary (Michael) Spaeth. Beloved grandchildren Scott, Brandon, Michael (Victoria), Alisha (Patrick), JoAnna (Kenneth), Jacob (Duru), Ryan (Rich), Mariah, Madison, Ethan, Edward, Hannah, Alex, Kyle, Jessica, Kaylee, Bradley, Connor, Mason and the late Adele; great grand children Alexis, Ashleigh, Peyton, Hailey, Ethan, Liam, Lucas, Jack, Charlie, Jake Ayla, Lucy, Josie, and Noelle. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis, and Gertrude Klug and brothers Louis Klug, Fr. Richard Klug, Robert Klug and Thomas Klug.
Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 on Wednesday, April 13th at 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Team Adele/Cystic Fibrosis, 1941 Bishop Lane, Suite 108, Louisville, KY 40218.
