Wanda L. Spears
April 7, 1947 – July 7, 2020
SPEARS, Wanda Lee (Meece) of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at home under the care of Grace Hospice. Wanda was born on April 7, 1947 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of Lyman C. Meece and Mary V. (Dykes) Meece, who preceded her in death, as well as grandson Bryan M. Morrett and nephew Michael Spears. Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Prentice L. Spears, three children; daughters Kimberly K. Fetters and Karyn L. Spears and son Russell L. Spears. Wanda is also survived by her brother Claude (Kasper) Meece and his wife Donna, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was an accomplished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Wanda loved her family, immediate and extended, but her greatest love was her love for GOD, it was with that great love that she in her faith made the decision to choose hospice in the hopes that the transition to going home would be peaceful. Her hope that we would all invite God in to our lives.
Visitation will be held at Neidhard-Young Funeral Home 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 11:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:30 PM with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
