I grew up in the same neighborhood as Tom. I have very fond and clear memories of my friendship with him for several years in the 1980s. He was two years older than me. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend during my early teen years. Tom was fun, adventurous, confident, resilient, and went out of his way to make me laugh. I had the opportunity to chat with him in the 90s and he was still the class act I remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with his sisters who I once knew also, Lori and Jean.
