Thomas Coombs

Mr. Thomas Coombs, age 78, passed away on February 14, 2021.

Thomas, or Tommy as everyone called him, was born in Cincinnati, OH to George Coombs and Ethel (Kneidl) Coombs. Tommy married Mary Coombs and she preceded him in death in 2014.

Tommy was also preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother Terrence Coombs.

Tommy is survived by his daughters; Christina (Joe) Sarley and Melissa (Greg) Kramer, grandchildren; Amber Short, Katie Sarley, Samantha Sarley, Andy Kramer and Lauren Kramer, brother; Tim (Eileen) Coombs and many, many extended relatives and friends.

Tommy will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens on July 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM, with A Celebration of Life to follow.

“May Dad drive all the cars of his dreams in Heaven.”

We have so many great memories of Tommy. I will always think of him picking me up at the airport in his beloved mustang! Such a character who will be greatly missed. May you Rest In Peace Tommy and raise a little hell up there in heaven with Mary at your side! ❤️❤️

I will forever miss your laugh and the way you would say, “get outta here” with a smirk. I will forever miss you calling Andy, pup. I will forever miss you coming to me upset because I messed up your computer when it was because you deleted all your icons off the desktop somehow. I will forever miss your passion with cars. I will forever miss sitting on the swing to tell me stories. I will forever miss “I got you this, don’t tell grandma”. I will forever miss the times I lived with you and spending time doing so much together. I will forever miss the way you would say, “well I’d odds” and pretend like you were fighting. I will forever miss the awful pancakes you made because you didn’t mix it so it was all powder. I will forever miss four wheeling at the farm. I could list a million things that I will miss but it’s you that I will miss the most. Forever young at heart, forever in my heart, forever in my memory I will carry you with me. I love you indefinitely, until next time.

I always loved our visits with Thomas when Christina would come visit, he is always happy, full of smiles and loved to surprise us. A wonderful upright man, everyone loved being around.
