Thelma Gholson
Ms. Thelma Gholson, age 97, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022.
Thelma was born in Monticello, KY to Carlie and Poppie Blevins. She married Alfred Sherman Womer and he preceded her in death in the Korean War. She then married Curtis Gholson and he preceded her in death in 1977.
Thelma is survived by her children, Shannon (Kathy) Womer and Tanya Womer, grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Womer and Amy (Chad) Womer-Koehneke, great-grandchildren, James Paul Womer, Justin Zoltan Womer and Calvin Lee Koehneke, siblings, Alicia Stokes and Roger Blevins and many extended relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Nena Womer.
Private Family services will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
