Shirley Mae Marsh (nee Murphy), beloved wife of William “Bill” Marsh, mother of Skip (Caryn) Marsh, Mike (Sarah) Marsh, Jeff (Julie) Marsh, grandmother to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sister to Donnie, Johnny and Carl Murphy, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Carrie Murphy, and sisters Anne Lee, Betty and brothers Red and Bobby.
Shirley was loved by many friends and family and loved them all endlessly. She worked as an assistant to the special education teacher at Amelia Middle School for many years. She adored the children she cared for during those years. Shirley was an avid collector of Radko ornaments, Department 56 Christmas Village and Thomas Kinkade paintings. She received so much joy decorating her home for Christmas to showcase her collections. Her greatest love however came from time spent with her sons and grandchildren.
Shirley passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 83. Memorial donations can be made in her honor to the Diabetes Association.
