Greenhills – Montford Allen Coffman, loving husband to Janet Ruth Coffman for 71 years. Loving father to Victoria Stahlberg, Monty Coffman (deceased), Karen Cloud, Patti Pavloff (Mark), and Denise Coffman (deceased). Devoted grandfather to Miles McDowell, Greg Coffman, Meghann Henry, and Maya McDowell, and great-grandfather to Greg Jr., Jared, Holden, Hudson, Lucas, and Emilie. Long-time very close friend of Mark Hellman.

Montford had plans to study music, but his father had a massive stroke and Montford was called to help run the family Coffman farm in Frankford, WV. After his father’s death and subsequent sale of the farm he left Greenbrier County and began driving for McLean Trucking Company, where he retired. Montford was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenhills.

Montford passed his love of animals to his children and grandchildren, and even his great-grandchildren. He lived his life humbly and he was a faithful and loyal servant of God. He died on Monday, August 24, 2020.  He was 96 years old.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 28th @ 3:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens.  Friends are welcome to attend. Everyone will be meeting first at Arlington Memorial Gardens’ Family Gathering Center. From there, the cemetery escort will lead everyone to the gravesite. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Greenhills, 11195 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45218. Paul R. Young entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
