Maurice “Mo” Murphy
Maurice “Mo” Murphy, age 63, passed away on February 18, 2020.
Mo was born in Lexington, KY to James and Denyse Murphy. Mo married Mary Isaacs on February 15, 2006. He graduated from Finneytown High and then attended University of Cincinnati. He was a life long Bengals fan and enjoyed golfing. When he was not on the green, he could be found spending time with his family or working. He worked for Wendy’s as an operator for over 35 years.
Mo is survived by wife of 14 years, Mary Murphy, father James (Darlene) Murphy, mother Denyse Murphy, children; David Edwards II, McKenzie Murphy, Dana Edwards and Breiana Murphy, siblings; James “Jimmy” (Vicki) Murphy, Patricia Green, Erin (John) Mckee and Megan Murphy, and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held Saturday, 22nd of February, 2020, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, when services will begin, at the Community Christian Church (3401 Millikin Road, 45011). Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. I had the honor to work with Mo at Wendy’s (Rybolt store) years ago and I just want to say that this man always had a smile on his face. Always.
