Mary Lee Borgman, age 87, passed away on June 12, 2020.

Mary was born in Cincinnati, OH to William and Caroline Reynolds. Mary married Mel Borgman and he preceded her in death in 2011. Mary was also preceded by her parents and son, Dan Borgman, brother William Reynolds.

Mary is survived by her children, Mike (Kim) Borgman and Julie Borgman, grandchildren, Kyle and Adam Borgman, sister-in-law, Ann Reynolds and many extended relatives and friends.

Mary worked at the American Red Cross, as a case worker providing service to military families. Mary had fond memories of Hawaii where she lived for a few years on an “extended honeymoon” when Mel was in the Air Force. She maintained lifelong friendships with the couples they met there. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. In later years she enjoyed going out to dinner with Julie and friends.

    Mike and Family My mother Charleen Schmerber Hardig was a great friend of your Moms. I have heard many stories of their High School days and romping around Delhi. I am sorry for your loss . I am sure the friends are reminiscing in Heaven. I hope your memories bring you peace.

    I am saddened to hear of Mary Lee’s death I meet Martin 1975 when I started to work for the Red Cross and then I supervised Mary as an After Hours Caseworker for Military Families She helped many families to get fathers sons daughters wife’s and others home because of death births and other family emergencies She had to get up many times in the middle of the night to verify those emergencies She always did a great job Helping Military Families in times of Emergencies I will truly miss her and want to express my sincere Sympathy to her family but especially to Mike and Julie who Igor yo know through Mary Peace be with you Vince Costello
