Margaret Breyer October 20, 1929 - February 19, 2020

Breyer

Margaret (Marge)Joanne Breyer (née Tucker) born October 20th 1929 of Cincinnati, OH and Boca Raton, FL has passed on. February 19th 2020 She was the devoted wife of the late Richard W Breyer, loving mother of the late Rick Breyer (Nancy), Nancy Richardson (Don), Diane Ries (Jeff), Pamela Dow (Ray), Jim Breyer (Julie), and Anne Dow.  Marge was preceded in death by her dear parents, James O. Tucker & Mary E. Tucker-Kingsnorth (Stuart) as well as her dear in-laws, Gottlieb & Elizabeth Breyer. She also lost her beloved brother, Gordon (Bob) Tucker (Edwina) & her sweet sister Catherine Champ. She is survived by only one dear sister Virginia (Ginny) Clark (George) and brother in-law Bill Breyer (Theresa) as well as many nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews.

Her biggest legacy, besides the love  for her Savior, Jesus Christ, is that she has left behind her 17 grandchildren & their partners and 22 great-grandchildren who loved her so very, very much. She also leaves behind her long-time best friend, Joanie Duke.

Marge/Mom/Grandma/Mimi was a one of a kind and sweetly innocent, yet tough woman who touched so many lives during her 90 years of a long and beautiful life. This was revealed to all of us many times over, especially in her last years with us when she moved to a nursing home in Boca Raton. While there, she was given TLC that went beyond normal care by a myriad of staff. Nurses, aides, doctors, a supplies woman, kitchen workers, business office personnel, social worker, physical and occupational therapists, women in the beauty shop, front desk workers and activities ladies (BINGO!) all cared for, and genuinely loved Margaret and her family. If you knew Marge you knew she could be a bit demanding at times and over the last few years she began experiencing physical limitations including near blindness. But she always looked her best! Makeup  (lipstick!) done, coifed hair and the nicest of outfits. Sometimes our patience and hers were tried but we suspect that everyone simply understood that Mom was to get the best of care. Period!

On Wednesday, February 19, at 10:28 am, while Mom was surrounded by all the love you could imagine, slipped off to Heaven in the peaceful way we had all been praying for. This happened just as her favorite bible verses (Psalms 91 & 100) were being read to her.

We grieve and yet we rejoice for Margaret is whole again!

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to: Trustbridge of West Palm Beach Florida.  https://trustbridgefoundation.org/ways-to-give/donate/  Their hospice nurses were sent as angels of mercy and administered the most tender care during their 12 hour around the clock shifts. They, once again, helped us through our most difficult time.
