Leonard R. Schnell

Mr. Leonard Schnell, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022.

Leonard was born on July 13, 1929, in Marshall, Michigan to Emil and Alvina Schnell (nee St. Clair). 

Leonard is survived by his son David  Schnell, grandchildren Andy (Michelle) Schnell, and Lindsey (Nick) Koopman, great-grandchildren Isla Schnell, Nathan Schnell, Noah, Ollie and Grayson Koopman. Also survived by daughter in law Cheryl Schnell and many other extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Jeanne Schnell, son Russell Schnell,  sister Ruth Harris and late daughter in law Patty Schnell. 

Leonard was an all-around adventurer, he enjoyed traveling the world working for Cincinnati Milacron. He enjoyed flying his plane and woodworking.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. (Follow the blue line once on the cemetery grounds) (Facial coverings are required)

Funeral service for Mr. Leonard Schnell will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 11:00 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
