Katherine Elizabeth Schoebel “Kaye”

It is with profound sadness that the family of Katherine “Kaye” Schoebel announces her passing on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 89 years young.

Kaye was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 12, 1931.  She was a Christian who loved and served the Lord in many ways such as an Inner-City Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, Church Bus Driver and more.  She loved family and animals.  Her professions included being a Jeweler and a Pet Sitter.

She will be dearly missed by her son Jay (Janet) Schoebel and daughter Anne (Bob) Green, her grandchildren Brandy (Randy) Sowders, Kelly (Mike) Graham, John (Amanda) Maher, Kami Green, Julie Schoebel and Bobby Green, 11 great-grandchildren Daniel, Ally (Dillon), Nate, Abby, Jordan, Chandler, Austyn, Madison, John John, T T and Jitter, one great-great-grandchild Bentlee, as well as Nephew Steve Vanderink, Niece Holly Stohlmann and other family and friends.

Kaye is predeceased by her parents Steve and Elizabeth (Mieser) Kafer, sister Pauline (Kafer) Vanderink, granddaughter Jessica, great-grandson Kaleb and ex-husband but close friend to the late Fred Schoebel.

Kaye donated her body to science in hopes to help others.  She was returned to her family a couple of months ago.  The family can now finally lay her to rest. 

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May, 14, 2022 at the Whispering Winds Scattering Garden at Arlington Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio at 11:30 a.m.

    Love you Mom, I’ll mis you dearly and think about you daily. You gave so much to so many with out a thought of return. You were a wonderful Mom, Grandma and great grandma. I know in my heart your in a better place and are among family in heaven. Someday I will join you and until then know how much I miss you and love you!
