James Fields
James “Jim” Fields, aged 59, passed away on December 15,2020 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born in May of 1961 to William and Dorothy Fields.
He was a 1979 graduate of Dayton High School. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for many years. He was an amazing coach of Baseball, Basketball and Football, affectionately known as “Coach Fields”. One of his greatest joys in life was mentoring and making an impact on the lives of every player on his teams, and make an impact he did. He was inducted into the Dayton Youth Football Hall of Fame in 2017. Jim lived life to the fullest and had an uncanny ability to light up any room he walked into.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michaele, his mother Dorothy, his children Brittany (Bill) Luchsinger, Josh Fields and Abbey Fields. His grandchildren Jordan Roberts, Kaylee Luchsinger and Cole Luchsinger. His sister Janice (Oscar) Brummett, as well as his nephews Pete (Jill) Brummett, Chris Brummett, and Alex (Jessica) Brummett and his niece Jennifer (Chris) Abatello. As well as many adoring aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 23rd of December 2020, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Then funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line once you arrive at the cemetery). Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
