Rev. Glenn McDonald, 89 of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 14, 2021. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Jackie. He was born January 10, 1932 to the late Dewey and Lela McDonald (nee Thomas) in Stearns, Kentucky. The brother to late Wilma Dority, the late Betty Hines, the late Edward McDonald, Doris Ann (Bennie) Pitman, the late Phyllis Lundy, Faye Powell, Mike (Betty) McDonald, and Donna McCann. Glenn had four children: Lela “Sis” Mingie, Glenn “Mac” McDonald, daughter-in-law Juanita McDonald, Darrel McDonald, and Janice McDonald. He was loved by a multitude of grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, church family, and friends. Rev. Glenn McDonald was a preacher of the gospel for 52 years. His ministry consisted of founding First Pentecostal Apostolic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. After three years of pastoring in Cincinnati, he evangelized for 9.5 years. He pastored in Merryville, Louisiana for 7 years and Burlington, North Carolina for 22 years before retiring. Rev. McDonald was passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ that he preached. He was a man who loved to see people come to God with a sincere heart and dedicate their lives in serving God. His favorite scripture was Acts 2:38. Rev. McDonald was married to the love of his life Jackie McDonald for 56 years. She served with him by his side, and they were deeply in love until the time of his departure.

Visitation will be held at the First Pentecostal Apostolic Church 2965 Blue Rock Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45239, on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 7pm. Pastor Jason Coon will be leading the preliminaries of the service and Eld. Terry Meade will be preaching. A Committal Service will take place Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11am at The Arlington Memorial Gardens 2145 Compton Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. In leu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions be directed to First Pentecostal Apostolic Church in honor of Rev. Glenn & Jackie McDonald.
