I am so saddened to hear about Drexanne’s passing. She visited me in the Great Smoky Mountains area and helped me when I first started my real estate company with the best advice and assistance I have ever had. We spoke over the years and she gave me updates on her cats and her. That first experience with her was over 30 years ago. I went to call her today and found out she had passed. My condolences to her family. Such a huge loss. May she rest in peace. There’s no one ever like her. I miss her greatly.

I once had a date with Drexanne Lawson back in 1957-58 when she lived with her parents in Golf Manor OH. Lost track of her but heard her on WOBO radio and sent her a note which she answered. I don’t remember what she looked like in 1957 but I’m sure she was pretty.

I had a date (do kids still go on date?) back in 1957-58. At the time as a high school student Drexanne lived at home with parents in Golf Manor OH. We went to Coney Island where she was elected president of her sorority that night. We only had one date as I wasn’t her steady beau. I lost track of her. Then I heard her on Sunday morning radio WOBO. I wrote her a note which she responded on the air. Very sorry to hear of her passing.

It is with much sadness that I have in my heart today to learn of the passing of one of my fellow instructors.
Drex was a stitch, a breath of fresh air, took a joke and gave one back. She knew her stuff and was fun to work with, although it happened to often. She was one of the good ones. My prayers and condolences go out to her immediate family!

Kathy, Linda and Joy, I was sad to learn that Drexanne had died. She was a huge influence in my life. I still say that she was the best public speak/teacher that I ever heard. She was truly gifted. My heart goes out to you. Prayers and physically distant hugs to each one of you!

We are heart broken to hear Drexanne passed away. She has been our landlord and friend for a couple of years. She did everything she could to help us at our lowest point. For that we will always be grateful. She was a good woman. My family is very blessed to have known her. I do wish I could sneak her a couple more cupcakes. You won’t be forgotten. Rest in Peace Drexanne ❤

I was so sorry to hear of Drexanne’s passing. She was a kind, funny and smart woman. I started my real estate career with her in 2008. I am so glad I called her a couple of months ago to see how she was doing. We planned ongoing to lunch when the weather turned nice. She was highly respected and thought of and she will be missed.

So sad to hear that Dena has passed. I am married to Barb (Evers), Ed’s oldest daughter. We have many fond memories of her. I’m pretty sure if we search our old picture boxes we have some pictures of her that we could send if someone is making a memorial video and we would like to attend her Celebration of life. Thank You.

Hi Dave. I had one date with Drexanne (then Lawson) way back in late 1950s? Lost touch but heard her on WOBO. Wrote her and she replied on her radio broadcast. If you have pictures, I would appreciate posting.
