Dr. Adriano Trinidad
Dr. Adriano Trinidad, age 94, passed away on July 8, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his family.
Adriano was born on July 19,1926, in Baler Quezon, Philippines to Adriano G. and Euphracia C. Trinidad. Adriano married Lydia de la Paz on July 29, 1961, at Knox Memorial Church.
Adriano C. Trinidad, beloved husband is survived by his wife of 60 years Lydia de la Paz Trinidad and his five children: Adrian Mitchell and his wife Rowena, Alex and his wife Sandra, Richard, Rose Lynn and her husband Dr. Joseph McKinley, and Jonathan. He is also survived by two sisters: Columbia Mariano and her husband Dr. Michael Mariano, Estrella Fernando, and her late husband Dr. George Fernando. Adriano is also survived by his eleven grandchildren: Natalia and her husband Eric Beck, Chelsea, Kendra, Colten, Adriana, Jordan, Josephina, Jazmine, Julian, Owen, Liam, and two great grandchildren: Willow and Wren.
Adriano, our beloved husband, father, friend, and Lolo will forever be in our hearts.
Dr. Adriano Trinidad attended Manila Central University in Caloocan, Philippines and graduated with honors in 1953. In 1954, Adriano came to the United States and trained to be a surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital from 1955 to 1960, he then went back to the Philippines in 1960 to work as a physician at Tanchoco General Hospital until 1962. In 1963, he became a company physician at Victory Liner. In 1966, Adriano and his wife Lydia came back to the United States where Adriano became the head of the emergency room at Bethesda Hospital. Adriano then opened his own private practice in 1979 and served the greater Cincinnati area until retirement in 2004.
Adriano was very proud of his professional career and his accomplishments; however, he had many hobbies and interests outside of his medical profession. Adriano enjoyed competitive ballroom dancing, and he competed in Columbus for 3 years. He also enjoyed playing golf and has many trophies that he won in tournaments from 2001 to 2005. Adriano was very quiet and reserved in his own way but whatever he decided to do, he did it until he was able to perfect it. Adriano also enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 16, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Therese Little Flower Parish. (5560 Kirby Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45239)
Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Adriano Trinidad will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Little Flower Parish with Fr. Dave Koback officiating. Cremation will follow at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Crematory.
