Charlene J. Prager
Mrs. Charlene J. (nee Donley) Collins Prager, age 84, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2021.
Charlene was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to William Donley and Laverne Donley. Charlene married Gary Collins Sr. and later, William Prager and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Charlene is survived by her children; Deborah (Mark) Drew and Gary (Susann) Collins II, grandchildren; Anthony (Camille) Drew, Maria Drew, Breanna (Justin Johnson) Collins and Gary (Ashley) Collins III, and her beloved cats; Panda Bear and Tiffany and many extended relatives and friends.
Charlene was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. She loved all animals including stuffed animals. Her collection of knickknacks would rival a museums collection. She wrote poetry and loved reading, writing and nature. Her quiet and gentle nature will be deeply missed. She was loved by all. She had a great compassion and respect for people of all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds and communicated this love of people to her family and friends, through out her life.
Private family services will be held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Charlene will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
