Carl Lester West
Carl Lester West, 87, of Cincinnati, passed away on August 19, 2021. He was born August 3, 1934, in Linton, Indiana, a son of the late Troy and Gaynell West. He was retired from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and A Savannah Nite Limousine Company.
Carl was married 61 years, to Ruth Lee Ellis West, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Jerry West; one daughter, Amy Kinnett (Davit); 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Linton Indiana Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He was a member of Lifespring Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter in infancy, Tracey and two sons, Steven West and Brian West.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM when services will begin, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the cemetery grounds follow the blue line to the funeral home. Carl will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be left at www.AMGFuneralHome.com. August 21, 2021 at 2:50 amUncle Carl was truly a nice guy. Each time he came to visit my family in California. He would practically took over the duties of fixing things around the house for Mom. I’m so glad he came out in 2001 for my Mom’s 80th birthday and that was the last time I saw him and his wonderful wife Ruth. Rest in Peace Carl. I know you are with your sons and my Dad.
