Betty Lillie, age 81, passed away on July 30, 2022.

Betty was born in Cincinnati, OH to Joseph Allen & Sylvia Mullikin Allen Conners. Betty married Earl J. Lillie on May 21, 1960. Earl & Betty eventually welcomed four children, and Betty enjoyed raising her family at home.

Earl & Betty started the Oak Hills Soccer Association in the early 1980s. After her kids were grown, Betty enjoyed returning to work.

Betty is survived by her children Barbara (Sean Kennedy) Barelka Kennedy, Patricia Lillie, Linda (Mike) Bennett, & David Lillie; and her grandchildren Matthew Barelka, Andrew Barelka, Jacob Cecil, Sydney Bennett, Hannah Bennett, & Peyton Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl J. Lillie; her parents Joseph Allen & Sylvia Conners; and her brother Gordon Swart.

Betty loved to dance, to travel, and to spend time with her grandchildren. In the last 13 years, she picked up singing to entertain all those she met.

A visitation for Betty will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231; follow the BLUE line). Betty’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with a committal to follow in the Garden of Nativity.
