Bernie “Barnyard” Lauer passed on March 5, 2020, he was 65. Bernie was the loving husband of 42 years to his wife Sharon Lauer (nee Doolin). He was the devoted son to his mother Mary Katherine Lauer (nee Cook). Dear brother of Bruce (Gloria), Todd (Jacque) Lauer, Melissa Ryan and Roberta (Jeffrey) Brown. Adored brother in law of Henry Doolin, David Doolin and Sheila Bohnert and uncle of Shannin (Foy) Bohnert, Sarah (Jim) Huesman, Samantha (Brandon) Evans, Jacob Bohnert, Kyle, Kevin and Kelsey Lauer, Hailey, Joey Reid and Xander Ryan. He is preceded in death by his father Bernard F. Lauer and his late sister Holly Ann Lauer.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Thursday March 12th from 6 PM until time of memorial service at 8 PM, all at the Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Bernie will be laid to rest on Friday, 3/13/20 at Arlington Memorial Gardens with a graveside service for the family.
