Wayne Leonard Wood
Wayne Leonard Wood, 69, widower of the late Wilma Virginia Haungs Wood, died Sunday August 2, 2020 at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
A native of Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Clarence Myer and Verna Cook Wood. He was a retired industrial worker and loved playing cards, horseshoes and cornhole. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by one brother, Ronnie Wood; three sisters, Diana Wood, Mary Louise Henson and Bertha Mae Gregory; four stepchildren, Joe, Michael, Robbie and Rita and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Patty Roe and one brother, Bobbie Wood.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday August 7, 2020 at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, OH.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday August 6, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
