Betty L. Mast
Betty L. Mast, 79, of Syracuse, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Van Duyn Nursing Home. Born in Cuzzart, West Virginia and graduated from Kingwood High School in 1959. She lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for a majority of her life until 2012 when she came to Syracuse. In recent years, she enjoyed doing arts & crafts, singing and playing bingo. Her smile was contagious and she was loved by all who knew her.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Peter) DePalmo, son Michael Mast, grandchildren, Jasmine, Jesse, Julia, her twin brother Willis (Evelyn) Groves of Albright, WV., sister Evelyn Thornburg of Fairmont, WV. and Martha (Rev. Archie) Fulkerson of Kernersville, NC; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary Groves; two brothers Stanley and Paul; and one sister, Virginia Troop.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
