Fred J. Schoebel

It is with profound sadness that the family of Fred J. Schoebel announces
his peaceful passing on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the age of 95 years.
Fred was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 27, 1924 to J. Fred and Emma.
He was a WWII veteran of the United Stated Army and a certified
gemologist. His passions included glider planes, rally racing, golf, tennis,
Senior Olympics, badminton mixed doubles and playing the trombone
in various big bands.

He will be dearly missed by his sister Lois (Don) Coffey, children Jay
(Janet) Schoebel and Anne (Bob) Green, his grandchildren Brandy
(Randy) Sowders, Kelly (Mike) Graham, John (Amanda) Maher, Kami
Green, Julie Schoebel and Bobby Green , 11 great-grandchildren, one
great-great-grandchild, ex-wife but best friend Katherine (Kaye)
Schoebel as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Fred is predeceased by his parents J. Fred & Emma (Seyfried) Schoebel, 
brother Richard Schoebel, sister Jean Grover, granddaughter Jessica
Green and great-grandson Kaleb.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Spring
Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio at 2 o’clock p.m. A Memorial
Service with Military Honors will be on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the
Whispering Winds Scattering Garden at Arlington Cemetery in
Cincinnati, Ohio at 10 o’clock a.m.
